Late 2023: I had just finished painting my pride and joy - a massive Tyrannofex for my Tyranid army. After weeks of careful work, I turned to creating the perfect base to showcase it.
I spent hours designing what I thought was an amazing terrain base. Rocky outcroppings, alien flora, battle damage - it looked incredible. But when I went to attach my carefully painted Tyrannofex, it didn't fit.
The model's pose didn't work with the terrain I'd created. I had to rework large sections, losing hours of work. That's when BaseCrafter was born - a tool to visualize and design bases that actually fit your miniatures.

BaseCrafter supports all major tabletop games including popular sci-fi and fantasy miniature games, RPGs, skirmish games, and any game using standard round, oval, hex, square or rectangle bases. We currently support 34 sizes across round, oval, hex, square and rectangle bases, from 20mm to 170x105mm, and we add more on request.
You can design unlimited bases for free. Base exports cost 2-5 credits depending on size. With the Warlord Pack, that is about $0.63-$1.56 equivalent per base.

Yes! Our STL files should work with all FDM and resin printers including Ender 3, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo Mars, and more. Files are optimised for 0.02-0.2mm layer heights and come unsupported.
Absolutely! All purchases include commercial licensing for selling painted miniatures and commission work. For large-scale commercial use, contact us for enterprise licensing.
